Sadness seeps like a shadowed mist,

Filling the empty spaces it will.

It whispers through the silent air,

In the stillness, it takes its place,

A heavy weight that lingers there,

Filling the void with its trace.

No words are spoken, none are heard,

Yet in the silence, it resounds,

A lonely echo, a muted word,

A sorrow that knows no bounds.

In the quiet, tears may fall,

Unseen, unheard, but not unfelt,

A silent scream, a soundless call,

A sadness in the silence felt

Yet within this quiet despair,

A seed of hope begins to grow,

For in the silence, the heart may dare,

To heal from wounds, it cannot show
